Any business owner who has been running a business for any amount of time knows what it feels like to have a day, week, month, or year when nothing seems to go his or her way. I've been there, and I've seen many clients there.

Most business owners will spend a great deal of time trying to perfect their business. It's just natural to want to try to make things perfect in your business. And often, when things don't go better, it is easy to get frustrated.

In moments of frustration, it's best to give attention to those areas that you have succeeded in and to realize that you have made significant accomplishments, and you're just struggling with a chapter in your business life right now.

Focus on getting a little bit better. Business owners can't handle trying to get 100% better. They can, however, handle trying to get 5% better. Getting 5% better every week, month, or year will result in radical improvements to your business in the long-term.

What are you going to do this week to get just a little bit better?
